Sample database: how excerpts work

A sample excerpt is a small set of records from the scope you request, so you can judge the fields and format before you decide.

What an excerpt is

An excerpt comes from your scope, not from a general list. It shows the same fields and format the quote describes. Some details may be masked so the excerpt cannot be used as the directory itself.

How to ask for one

Write "sample excerpt" in the notes of your text us. The specialist will tell you what can be shared for that scope. For a general picture of the fields, see the fictional sample record.

What to check in an excerpt

  • Which fields are filled on each record, and which are blank
  • Whether office type labels match your definition
  • Whether stated focus is specific enough to filter on
  • How source dates are shown
  • Whether the format imports cleanly into your system

Text us what you are looking for

Tell us the region, office type, sector and rough number of records you need. A directory specialist will reply by text or email.
